A. Alabaster skull buried to the bridge of the nose -- a Living Statue(14HD).

B. Silver barbed chains (worth 900 gold pieces) across the SW entrance. Water flows from J to C. Moss, mushrooms. 10 centaurs (4HD). 5 have spears of salvaged silver. Their leader, Avril, searches scrolls for a way to reactivate the fairy ring portal in N (there is none). They are enemies of the wereboars in L.

C. Water flows from B. Hot mud, sulphurous bubbles. 6 Basilisks (6+1 HD) wallow beneath.

D. Hollow floor hides stairs to L6. Stone shelves up to 40' ceiling. Low: dust, faded scrolls. High:

E. Stone shelves up to the 40' ceiling. 3 empty map cases. Spiked floor pit, open, 4 centaur corpses at bottom.

F. 2 cave bears (6+6HD) on the upper shelf. Fur has fallen off in clumps, their ribs visible.

G. In a tile grid on the floor, cM1-9. cM1 smashed, illegible. Upper platform has ladder pit to L6.

H. 30' domed roof, 10 griffons (7HD) roost. The pit is 80' deep. 8 naked and emaciated hill giants (8 HD) at the bottom. 1/6: they try to escape, climbing the sheer walls. Griffons harass, drop rocks.

I. Plaster tiles line the walls, imprinted with 9 dinnerplate-sized hand prints. One is missing a finger.

J. A clear pool. ice cold, tastes wonderful. Water flows from K to B.

K. Gold-leaf illuminated mural. Nine tall princes crush hillfolk beneath a great stone wheel.

L. Springwater bubbles up, rimmed by mud. 18 wereboars (4+1HD). 2D6 in human form. They are enemies of the centaurs in B.

They sense that this world's moon is larger and more beautiful, and yearn for the surface.

M. Air elemental (16HD) cares not what you do, so long as you ignore the plain granite sarcophagus. it contains the bones of a hill giant and some treasure.

N. There was an explosion here. Fractal lightning-scorches cover every surface. A ring of blackened fairy caps sprout from the blackened stone. A flurry of charred, shattered bones -- human, bear, rhino, horse.

O. Wooly rhino (10HD).
